Friendship Poetry

Cycle

You wouldn't say you loved me,
because everyone you loved left you,
well maybe you wouldn't get left
if you watched what you say and do.

You cry because you've been left
but now you have left me,
and until the day that I leave you,
you will never see.

Once you realize that you're not loved
by the one who left you,
I will be gone but don't fear
for it was because of you.

When one of your victims leave you
don't plan on me being there,
for you are too big of a hypocrite
for me to bare.

If I leave you now
I will be left with a broken heart,
but if I don't leave you now
I will slowly fall apart.

So you see in the end
this will bring out the best,
and one day I will have the courage
to leave all the rest.
