One day you appeared and stole my common sense.
You broke into my heart, and destroyed my picket fence.

You lured me in with your pureness, then used me like a tool.
And once you got what you wanted, you left me like a fool.

You even tried again, but the timing wasn't right.
You then laughed from a distance, but you weren't worth the fight.

So I let you slip away, and erased you from my mind.
Thank you for now I am careful, and avoid your pointless kind.

However, if I could start over, I would do it all again.
And if you came to me tomorrow, I would even do it then.

But this time I would know what kind of person you really are.
You're a coward and a prick, who will never make it far.
